Cyber Security

Cybersecurity impacts everyone in the Digital Dallas community. Whether they are from big brands, agencies, startups, or small business entrepreneurs, data security touches each part of the customer experience, from marketing to service delivery to payments, to much more.

The threats are real, gaining the information needed to understand these threats and protect their business is left to our individuals and companies they represent. They know this is an important issue, but also know they don’t know enough to feel safe with their business.

Digital Dallas will convene a panel of data security experts who represent a cross section of our membership (startups, agencies, brands, solopreneuers). The panel will be charged with walking through an examination of the threats posed to our members, and information they need to protect their business.

A secondary result from this panel event should be the formation of a Cybersecurity group, within Digital Dallas, that works to curate and publish content relevant to our members on a regular basis. The purpose of which is to keep them informed, educated, and better prepared to help grow their business in the wake of increasing security threats.
